Baammmm

decided to give my body some rest and chill out with my loves ...drinking iced coffee and have some girly time!

tomorrow it's gym time again and the second weekend without alcohol.. really good for a student =D

weekend goal: simply eating less than today ... so ...to have a total of 700 good calories and noct 400 for breakfast and 350 for lunch and dinner each.

Saturday Fitness

Hey,

I startetd my day with a delcious smoothie (all kind of berries and 300ml milk), coffee and crispbread.

I never tried drinking those smoothies because I totally love eating something heated in the morning and not those "cold and healthy" smoothies, which can't be delicious like a panini or fresh baked bread.
But I'm trying to train myself eating good and low carb stuff and not unhealthy but tasty stuff. (veerryy hard)

After a wonderful girly night with my two lovley chicas I wasn't feeling well becauseof so much food through the day and just a little workout. Here is my status quo from yesterday:

So todays fitness focus is on Kettlebell. I train twice a week with Kettlebells for core, arms and a little bit legs.
So today it's Kettlebell time and after a good workout it's spinning time for 45 minutes. My goal is to burn 500-600calories.

What is Kettlebell Training?Kettlebells are cast iron weights, ranging from 5 lbs to over 100 lbs, shaped like a ball with a handle for easy gripping. The kettlebell originated in Russia and was popular in the U.S. decades ago, but has hit a resurgence in the last few years with a flurry of classes, videos and books. The reason? Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. People love it because it's challenging, efficient and you only need one piece of equipment. The idea is to hold the kettlebell in one or both hands and go through a variety of swings (e.g., the one-arm swing), presses (e.g., clean, push and press) or pulling motions (e.g., the high pull). Some movements have you changing the weight from hand to hand as the weight swings up or as you move laterally, requiring you to stabilize the body and engage the core in a whole new way. Other moves require power from the legs and hips to move the weight, giving you integrated whole body movements that are often missing with other types of training.
Just a few benefits include:
  • Improved coordination and agility
  • Better posture and alignment – Many exercises work the postural muscles in a functional way
  • It's time efficient – You train multiple fitness components in the same session including cardio, strength, balance, stability, power and endurance
  • The exercises are functional and weight bearing which helps increase bone density and keep the body strong for daily tasks
  • You become more efficient at other types of exercise
  • Increased power development and endurance, which is great for a variety of sports
  • It can help protect athletes from injuries – Many injuries happen when you're moving fast and have to come to a stop (a.k.a., eccentric deceleration). Kettlebell exercises actually train the body in eccentric deceleration, which can translate to a healthier, stronger body on the court or field
  • Low risk of injury when you use good form and the right weights
  • Simplicity – the exercises are simple, the workouts are straightforward and you only need one piece of equipment

Fitness and Food

Today I decided not to go to the gym. Instead I did three rounds of Tabata (here are some Ideas for you personal Tabata Training @ home):

One round takes just 4 minutes of your time and you can do as many as you like.

Now the lovley fooood =)

I love to eat and I love to eat day and night. So I'm not the "I-just-eat-one-yoghurt-per-day" type.
So I did some research and spoke with some friends and I think I found a good way.
I eat 3-4 times during the day.
Every Day I write down what I eat and how many calories my meals have. I also use the App Shape Club to have a summary what I ate. It really helps not eating junk food. I always check it out before I order.

Breakfast:
1 slice Wasa bread(Knäckebrot =) ) 45kcal
15g marmelade 32kcal
2 cups of coffee with Milk 58 kcal
1 banana 115kcal

Lunch:
salad 14 kcal
olives 41kcal
cucumber (400g) 60kcal

Dinner:
cous cous 315 kcal
selfmade Thai curry (100g) 280kcal
(I did veggie thai curry. totally love it. I thought about ordering some, but after I looked it up (856kcal) I decided to prepare it by myself.)

I almost cook or prepare my food at home and also eat longer than 10 minutes (which is really difficult for me because I'm a fast eater (got a big brother ;)))

Try it out. Almost everytime I'm a little bit proud of myself haha and enjoy it every day more and more.

Wish you all a wonderful evening!

Luh
Thanks to my workout I have 400kcal left.

Day 1

Good Morning everybody,

First Day First Step! I decided to start a new Blog to motivate myself living healthier. Eat clean train mean! That's my new philosophy.
To see all those good looking and well trained girls is hard and my goal is to look like one of them.
I'm gonna write down every step of my new lifestyle. Of course I'm not a fitness or nutrition specialist but I'll give my best to train right and eat good.
No alcohol, no cigarettes, train as much as I can, and prepare every meal by myself. No junkfood and less carbs.

It's time for some Bikini Bootcamp and start my new healthy way!

Eat clean an work mean!!
Let's do it!
